The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • 保存条件 & 期限

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 运输条件

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

背景信息

Sting1 (Stimulator of Interferon Genes 1) is a pivotal protein in the innate immune response, known for its role in detecting cytosolic DNA and initiating type I interferon production, which is crucial for antiviral and antitumor immunity. Research on Sting1 has gained momentum due to its involvement in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers. The protein acts as a signaling hub that activates the STING pathway upon recognition of DNA from pathogens or damaged cells, leading to the activation of downstream transcription factors, such as IRF3 and NF-κB. Given its central role in immune signaling, understanding Sting1's structure and function offers insights into novel therapeutic strategies. Researchers have focused on the development and characterization of Sting1 recombinant proteins to elucidate its functional mechanisms and to explore its potential as a drug target. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, scientists can produce large quantities of Sting1 for biochemical and structural studies, facilitating the identification of small molecules or peptides that can modulate its activity. This research not only contributes to the basic understanding of immune response mechanisms but also holds potential for advancing immunotherapies and improving treatment outcomes in cancer and infectious diseases. The exploration of Sting1 as a therapeutic target continues to be at the forefront of immunology and drug discovery, paving the way for innovative approaches in disease management.
