The INHA antibody targets the inhibin alpha subunit (INHA), a critical component of the glycoprotein hormone inhibin, which belongs to the TGF-β superfamily. Inhibin exists as a dimer, combining an α-subunit (INHA) with either a βA (INHBA) or βB (INHBB) subunit to form inhibin A or B, respectively. These hormones primarily regulate follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) secretion by the pituitary gland, playing a key role in reproductive physiology.
