背景信息

The ING1 (Inhibitor of Growth 1) antibody is a research tool targeting the ING1 protein, a member of the ING tumor suppressor family involved in epigenetic regulation, cell cycle control, apoptosis, and DNA repair. Discovered in 1996. ING1 is ubiquitously expressed in tissues and exists as two major splice variants, p47ING1a and p33ING1b, which localize to the nucleus and interact with histone-modifying complexes like histone acetyltransferases (HATs) or histone deacetylases (HDACs). This protein contains a plant homeodomain (PHD) finger critical for chromatin recognition and a nuclear localization signal (NLS).
