B4GALT6 (β-1.4-galactosyltransferase 6) is a key enzyme in the glycosylation process, catalyzing the transfer of galactose to acceptor molecules via β-1.4 linkages. It belongs to the glycosyltransferase family and is primarily involved in synthesizing glycan structures on glycoproteins, glycolipids, and proteoglycans.
