**Background of Recombinant Human Protein Tyrosine Kinase 2 Beta (PTK2B):**

Protein Tyrosine Kinase 2 Beta (PTK2B), also known as Focal Adhesion Kinase 2 (FAK2) or Proline-Rich Tyrosine Kinase 2 (PYK2), is a non-receptor cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase encoded by the *PTK2B* gene. It belongs to the FAK family of kinases and shares structural similarities with Focal Adhesion Kinase (FAK/PTK2), including an N-terminal FERM domain, a central kinase domain, and a C-terminal focal adhesion-targeting (FAT) domain.
