Recombinant human SLC35D2 (Solute Carrier Family 35 Member D2) is a transmembrane protein belonging to the nucleotide-sugar transporter (NST) family. Located primarily in the Golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum, SLC35D2 facilitates the transport of nucleotide-activated sugars, such as UDP-glucuronic acid and UDP-N-acetylgalactosamine, into these organelles.
