稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

背景信息
FADS1 (Fatty Acid Desaturase 1) is an enzyme crucial for the biosynthesis of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), particularly the conversion of saturated fatty acids to monounsaturated and polyunsaturated forms. As a key player in lipid metabolism, FADS1 has garnered significant attention due to its implications in various health conditions, including cardiovascular diseases, inflammation, and neurodegenerative disorders. Genetic variations in the FADS1 gene have been associated with differences in PUFA levels in the human body, influencing individual nutritional needs and health outcomes. Recent research has focused on the recombinant expression of FADS1 to better understand its enzymatic activity and regulatory mechanisms. Producing recombinant FADS1 proteins allows scientists to investigate the structure-function relationships of this enzyme, its role in fatty acid metabolism, and its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions. Additionally, studying FADS1 can enhance our knowledge of dietary influences on health and aid in the development of personalized nutrition strategies. As interest in the bioactive roles of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids continues to rise, elucidating the functional characteristics of FADS1 through recombinant protein studies becomes increasingly critical for advancing nutritional science and public health.
