背景信息

The UTP11 antibody targets the UTP11 protein, a conserved component of the U3 small nucleolar ribonucleoprotein (snoRNP) complex involved in ribosomal RNA (rRNA) biogenesis. UTP11. also known as U3-55k, plays a critical role in the early stages of pre-rRNA processing, particularly in 18S rRNA maturation within the nucleolus. It facilitates the assembly of the small ribosomal subunit by interacting with other U3 snoRNP proteins and guiding chemical modifications or structural rearrangements of rRNA.
