**Background of Recombinant Human GMCL1L Protein**  


The germ cell-less-like protein 1-like (GMCL1L), also known as CRR4L, is a nuclear-enriched protein belonging to the germ cell-less (GCL) family. It shares structural homology with GCL, characterized by a conserved BTB/POZ domain involved in protein-protein interactions and a BACK domain critical for scaffolding. GMCL1L is implicated in regulating cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and transcriptional control, potentially interacting with MYC/MAX networks to modulate gene expression.
