Glycoprotein Nonmetastatic Melanoma Protein B (GPNMB) is a transmembrane glycoprotein implicated in diverse physiological and pathological processes. Structurally, GPNMB contains an N-terminal signal peptide, an integrin-binding RGD motif, a polycystic kidney disease (PKD) domain, a transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmic tail. These domains enable its roles in cell adhesion, migration, differentiation, and immune modulation.

Recombinant GPNMB protein is produced via genetic engineering in host systems like *E. coli* or mammalian cells, ensuring high purity and bioactivity for research.
