The AIMP1 (aminoacyl tRNA synthase complex-interacting multifunctional protein 1) antibody is a tool used to detect and study AIMP1. a multifunctional protein initially identified as a component of the multi-synthetase complex (MSC) involved in protein synthesis. Beyond its role in tRNA aminoacylation, AIMP1 exhibits extracellular cytokine-like activity under stress conditions, regulating inflammation, angiogenesis, and apoptosis. It is also known as EMAP II (endothelial monocyte-activating polypeptide II) or SCYE1. and its dysregulation is linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune diseases.
