The COPS8 antibody is a tool used to detect the COP9 signalosome subunit 8 (COPS8), a key component of the evolutionarily conserved COP9 signalosome (CSN) complex. The CSN is a multiprotein complex involved in regulating protein degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasome system, primarily by controlling the activity of cullin-RING ubiquitin ligases (CRLs).
