The p70S6 kinase α (Phospho-Ser418) antibody is designed to detect the phosphorylated form of p70S6 kinase α (also known as S6K1) at serine residue 418. a key regulatory site within its autoinhibitory domain. p70S6 kinase α is a serine/threonine kinase downstream of the mTORC1 (mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1) signaling pathway, which integrates nutrient and growth factor signals to regulate cell growth, proliferation, and metabolism.
