ZNF326 (Zinc Finger Protein 326), also known as Zfp326. is a member of the zinc finger protein family characterized by conserved C2H2-type zinc finger domains that mediate nucleic acid binding. It was initially identified as a transcriptional repressor linked to the regulation of gene expression through interactions with chromatin-modifying complexes. Structurally, ZNF326 contains an N-terminal SCAN domain involved in protein-protein interactions and multiple zinc finger motifs at the C-terminus for DNA/RNA recognition.
