SMNDC1 (Survival Motor Neuron domain-containing protein 1), also known as SMNR or Gemini3. is a component of the survival motor neuron (SMN) complex involved in RNA metabolism and spliceosome assembly. It plays a role in pre-mRNA splicing by facilitating the interaction between small nuclear ribonucleoproteins (snRNPs) and the spliceosome. SMNDC1 antibodies are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and functional interactions in cellular processes.
