背景信息

The DHX58 antibody is a research tool designed to detect and study DHX58. a protein also known as LGP2 (Laboratory of Genetics and Physiology 2). DHX58 belongs to the RIG-I-like receptor (RLR) family, which plays a critical role in the innate immune response by recognizing viral RNA and initiating antiviral signaling. Unlike other RLRs like RIG-I and MDA5. DHX58 lacks caspase activation and recruitment domains (CARDs), suggesting a regulatory role in modulating immune signaling rather than directly activating downstream effectors. It contains a DExD/H-box RNA helicase domain and a C-terminal domain, enabling interactions with viral RNA and other RLRs.
