The IGF2BP1 antibody is a key tool for studying the insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA-binding protein 1 (IGF2BP1), a member of the conserved RNA-binding protein family. IGF2BP1. also known as IMP1 or ZBP1. regulates mRNA stability, localization, and translation by binding to target transcripts via its KH domains. It plays critical roles in embryonic development, cell polarity, and tumorigenesis. Dysregulation of IGF2BP1 is linked to cancers, where its overexpression correlates with poor prognosis, metastasis, and therapy resistance in malignancies like colorectal, ovarian, and lung cancers.
