The RASSF1 (Ras Association Domain Family Member 1) protein is a tumor suppressor encoded by the *RASSF1* gene, located on chromosome 3p21.3. a region frequently altered in cancers. It belongs to the RASSF family, which interacts with Ras GTPases to regulate cell cycle progression, apoptosis, and microtubule stability. RASSF1 exists as multiple splice variants, with RASSF1A and RASSF1C being the most studied.
