**Background of BACE2 Recombinant Protein**

BACE2 (β-site amyloid precursor protein-cleaving enzyme 2) is a transmembrane aspartic protease belonging to the same family as BACE1. both implicated in proteolytic processing of amyloid precursor protein (APP).
