**Background of SAA1 Antibody**

Serum Amyloid A1 (SAA1) is a highly conserved acute-phase reactant primarily synthesized in the liver and secreted into circulation during inflammatory responses. It belongs to the SAA family, which includes isoforms involved in lipid metabolism, immune regulation, and tissue repair. SAA1 levels rise dramatically (up to 1.000-fold) during infection, trauma, or chronic inflammation, driven by cytokines like IL-6. IL-1β, and TNF-α.

SAA1 plays dual roles: as an apolipoprotein in HDL metabolism and as a pro-inflammatory mediator promoting leukocyte recruitment, cytokine release, and extracellular matrix remodeling.
